You’re selling something with sequential episodes, lessons, chapters, volumes, modules. Right now, a customer buys one item, leaves, and maybe comes back for the next one. Maybe.

Building a “buy the whole series” bundle usually means a second, separate product with its own fixed price that never updates when your episode prices change, plus no way to nudge someone mid-purchase into buying more without a coupon code or a manual upsell plugin bolted on.

There’s no built-in WooCommerce way to say “add the next one at a discount” or “here’s what you save buying it all” live, on the page, without leaving it.

Woo Series & Collection

Woo Series & Collection reads your existing WooCommerce products no new product types, no custom pricing engine and adds two checkboxes to the product page: add the next item too, and buy the complete collection instead. Both reveal their own variation picker (PDF, PDF+Audio, whatever your variations are) without touching the other. A running total updates live as the customer chooses.

Check the collection box, and any individually added episodes from that series get automatically removed from the cart; the customer is never charged twice for the same content.

What it calculates for you, live

• Next-item discount – configurable % off, applied directly to the cart price (not a coupon), shown in the cart and at checkout
• Collection savings – sum of every individual item’s live price minus the collection price, recalculated on the fly, never hardcoded
• “Save $12 (30%)” style messaging, generated automatically from real prices

If you change an episode’s price, the savings figure updates itself. Nothing to manually recalculate, ever.

Where it shows up

• Product page – next item + collection options, live total
• Cart & checkout – collection contents shown as a clear breakdown under the line item (“Includes: Episode 1, Episode 2…”)
• Order emails, order-received, My Account – same breakdown, so customers always know what they bought
• Cart & checkout upsells – if the next item or collection isn’t in the cart yet, it’s offered there too, addable via AJAX with no page reload

Fully renameable

Nothing customer-facing is hardcoded to “episodes.” Rename the terminology to match what you actually sell:

Works for books, manga, comics, online courses, podcasts, video series, training programs, downloadable products — anything sold in sequence.

FAQ

Is this actually free, or is there a catch? It’s free. The license lets us see real-world usage and keep the plugin properly maintained. Existing free licenses won’t be pulled mid-term if pricing changes later.

What happens when my 12 months are up? The plugin’s features pause until you renew — same free, one-minute process.

Does the next-item discount use a coupon? No. It’s applied directly to the eligible cart item’s price, so the customer never sees or enters a code.

Does buying the collection create a separate cart item for every episode? No. The collection stays one product, one cart line. What’s included is shown as a read-only breakdown underneath it.

What if I deactivate the plugin? Nothing is deleted. Series data, item numbers, and settings are preserved regardless of license or activation status.
